Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience as manual QA and at least 1 year of experience as Automation QA
- Good knowledge of testing and development processes
- Proficiency in automation tools with a focus on testing integration points and APIs. Experience with Go is a must
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with testing in a microservices architecture
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues in complex integration scenarios and proactively develop solutions
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality products through rigorous testing practices
What the job involves

- We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our Acquiring team, focusing on both automation and manual testing within a microservices environment. The role involves working closely in a cross-functional to ensure the quality of our integrations and services
- Balance efforts between automated and manual testing, ensuring thorough coverage of our microservices and API interactions
- Lead and execute integration tests, particularly where our services interact with other teams' systems, to identify and resolve issues at the intersection of these interactions
- Focus on API testing to ensure our services communicate effectively and meet all performance and reliability requirements
- Analyze and debug code to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal system performance and stability
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, helping to establish standardized testing processes and raise the overall competency level within the QA team
Our take
Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) purchases have been rising in popularity for years, with a number of companies springing up to facilitate split-payment shopping. Tabby is one such company, offering Shariah-compliant buy-now-pay-later options through its mobile app, meaning consumers can shop at a range of stores and split their purchase between four interest-free payments.
For stores, using Tabby means offering their customers more flexible payment options, no matter the purchase channel, which can positively affect store loyalty and boost repeat purchases. They also gain access to the hundreds of thousands of shoppers already using the app, as Tabby runs co-marketing campaigns with its retail partners.
Managing upwards of $6 billion in transaction volume annually, and boasting the likes of Shein, Ikea and Adidas amongst its clientele, it is clear that Tabby is doing something right. It has secured a substantial funding round ahead of a planned IPO, and plans to invest in continued expansion of its financial services and shopping products.
