Role
Who you are
- Passion for food and the industry
- Intermediate / advanced skills in Google Sheets (preferred) or Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Composure and the ability to make good decisions under pressure
- Strong systems thinking - you can visualise how processes flow, spot where things get stuck, and design lasting solutions that address root causes
Desirable
- A good understanding of AI, and how best to implement it at work
- Familiarity with Metabase / Looker data studios or similar business insight tools
- Experience using Zendesk or similar
- Experience using no-code platforms (e.g. Zapier / Make)
- Experience in last-mile logistics, third-party logistics or the food delivery industry
- Operations, logistics, or customer support experience in an e-commerce (B2B or B2C) or food delivery environment
What the job involves
- * Live Operations and Logistics (50%) *
- Support our logistics team in achieving 98%+ perfect orders
- Scheduling deliveries and liaising with courier partners to oversee delivery operations
- Providing real-time tracking during lunch service, managing customer communications and coordinating with our customer support team latest ETA information and issue resolution
- * Vendor Relationship Management (25%) *
- Log daily issues to a high degree of accuracy and use this issue data to support our vendors with continuous operational improvement
- Working directly with our vendor partners in order to understand their needs, and improve their overall operational performance
- * Systems, Processes and Automation (25%) *
- We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable learning and adapting to our current systems as they are to continually refining and improving these systems
- This role will need to be comfortable working with our Business Insights tool (metabase), google sheets and browser based automation tools in order to create and implement lightweight but robust processes

Acknowledging that the B2B food delivery market has fallen way behind B2C in terms of digitisation, Feedr is targeting an estimated £4.7bn contract catering market. Adopting a B2B2C model, Feedr attracts companies to sign up and subsidises the meals their staff order as an additional perk to boost employee well-being. This also forms part of the company’s talent recruitment and retention strategy.
In addition, Feedr differentiates itself by curating a set of tailored menus based on the user’s order history, aiming to elevate the quality of breakfast, lunch and dinner orders. On top of that, the restaurants and caterers Feedr works with are low-impact on the planet and quality-assured by the company.
Feedr started off operating in London, and after being acquired by Berlin company EatFirst, is ready to expand its service to new geographical areas. Though it's working against a crowded B2C market, Feedr is the only B2B2C model food provider, a low-admin, hassle-free alternative for busy companies. And its partnership with EatFirst will no doubt elevate its presence as it looks to expand.
