Who you are
- Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects
- Experience in leading change relating to payments
- Experience working in the payments or financial services industry
- Experience working with Software Engineering teams and SDLC projects
- Experience of delivering organisational change involving changes to people, processes, technology and ways of working
- Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project or similar project planning tools
- The ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of proactively taking ownership of project planning, working with other internal teams from requirements through to initial support post-handover to BAU
What the job involves
- We are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join us in our London office on an initial twelve month fixed term contract
- As an innovative provider of card and payment processing, we are continually developing new products, services and processes
- The Project Manager will ensure the successful and timely delivery of key (often strategic) platform and back-office change projects across our business
- Managing and delivering multiple projects concurrently
- Project planning and initiation
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables
- Developing plans including timelines, resources and budget estimates to deliver required outcomes
- Working with internal teams and 3rd parties to draw up, maintain and continually review project plans
- Dependency mapping and management (Internal and External)
- Resource planning and resource management
- RAID Logs, dashboards across portfolio of projects
- Liaising with internal teams on the technical detail of requirements
- Proactively anticipating and communicating early on potential challenges and delays as well as offering workarounds/mitigation or escalating where needed
- Working across a variety of stakeholder in business, technology and operations to drive GRC activities, supporting stakeholders in adopting new changes
- Building and managing relationships with each party involved in delivery (Suppliers/Partners/Clients)
- Providing regular updates to all stakeholders (e.g. , Sponsors, Exec, Board) on all aspects of project progress, including any issues and system changes
- Track cost/resource and work to agreed budgets as required

Thredd (formerly Global Processing Services) focuses on paytech, with a tranche of services including major areas like payments, wallets, fraud prevention, and crypto management.
This diverse offering across high-growth fintech sectors has helped Thredd draw in hefty funding, and key clients across the key fintech markets of Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, including Revolut, Curve, Cape, and Starling Bank.
This shows quite how far Thredd has managed to capture significant market penetration, which has given it the resources to continue building out key new products. With more non-fintech businesses looking to leverage the benefits of embedded banking, this could see Thredd expand into further markets such as insurance and loans. Certainly, Thredd has both the momentum and the valuation to take the plunge into other lucrative verticals.
