Role
Who you are
- This role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience in managing sales teams and a strong ability to adapt to the unique challenges of the DACH market
- C2-level German proficiency and fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- Ideally based in Germany or within the DACH region
- Proven experience in managing and developing sales teams, preferably in SaaS or hospitality technology industries
- Strong leadership and motivational skills with a track record of driving team success
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. A real team player
- Ability to execute plans effectively and deliver results within a structured framework
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Hubspot, and sales tools to track and optimize performance

What the job involves
- As the Commercial Director for the DACH region, you will lead a team of 5+ sales professionals focused on driving new business acquisition within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in executing regional sales initiatives and ensuring the team meets their targets

- Manage and mentor a team of 5+ sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals
- Conduct regular coaching and development sessions to enhance team members’ skills and performance
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture
- Support the team in addressing challenges and driving consistent performance
- Implement regional sales strategies as directed by the Head of Sales to drive lead generation, demo conversions, and new client acquisition
- Monitor the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and deal closures
- Collaborate with the team to identify and pursue opportunities
- Ensure alignment with global sales processes and best practices
- Act as the primary point of contact for sales-related activities in the DACH region
- Provide insights on regional market trends and opportunities to the Head of Sales
- Develop localized strategies to address market-specific challenges and grow market share in the DACH region
- Align closely with other departments to support regional needs and drive lead generation efforts
- Track and analyze sales metrics to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Sales on regional sales progress
- Implement tools and processes to optimize sales team efficiency and effectiveness
- Effective pipeline management
