Who you are

Extensive hands-on design experience (5+ yrs) with a compelling portfolio demonstrating impactful projects and your skills
Proven experience and track record in leading design initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, preferable within a startup context. Ideally, someone who has experience as a founding or first on-site product designer
Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a future product and brand design team is a plus
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design decisions and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Adaptable and comfortable with the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a startup
A strong passion for continuous learning, staying informed on the latest design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

What the job involves

Lead Product design efforts, creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing experiences
Collect user insights and turn them into product design decisions
Collaborate with the CPO, product managers, and engineering teams to set design goals, prioritize initiatives, and create a cohesive and compelling product experience
Lead design thinking sessions throughout the organization to establish a culture of design excellence
Manage the entire design process from concept to completion, balancing creativity with practicality
Foster transparent collaboration and communicate progress of design initiatives
Contribute to strategic design discussions by using design trends, user feedback, and industry best practices to inform decision-making

Our take

The surge in AI-powered videos, capable of manipulating real people's speech or crafting synthetic personas, has sparked a robust demand for personalised and scalable video content. However, the intricate and labor-intensive nature of generating such videos at scale poses a significant challenge.

Enter Oxolo. Leveraging generative AI, it enables businesses to create tailored videos for employees based on various parameters such as management level, gender, and location. These videos can automatically assess their performance using A/B testing. If an employee loses interest in a video, Oxolo adapts and replaces it with a more engaging version.

This technology can of course also be applied to product videos, continually optimising their performance. As the market for video advertising and content creation tools continues to expand, Oxolo could be poised for significant growth, and a successful Series A funding round in 2023 shows this hasn't gone unnoticed.
