What the job involves
- We’re currently looking for a IT Support Specialist to join us! You'll be our go-to person for day-to-day IT support; helping colleagues with hardware and software issues, set up devices, troubleshoot technical problems, and contribute to making technology work smoothly across the company
- This is a hands-on role with lots of variety and opportunities to learn. One day you might be helping a new colleague get set up for success, and the next you could be improving an internal process or supporting an office IT project. We're looking for someone who's curious, proactive, eager to learn, and enjoys helping others
- You'll be part of our Digital Infrastructure team, working alongside experienced IT professionals in an international environment. It's a great opportunity to build your technical skills, gain exposure to a modern tech stack, and grow your career in IT

- Keep our office connected with reliable WiFi and networking
- Set up devices for new joiners and manage IT inventory
- Help keep Studocu secure by administering our password management tools
- Improve meeting rooms with smart, Google-friendly collaboration tools for hybrid working
- Coordinate cabling, installations, and other office IT projects
- Automate onboarding, off-boarding, and access management processes
- Act as a go-to admin for Google Workspace and other core business tools
- You'll get hands-on experience across IT, operations, security, and automation
- You'll work with people from all corners of Studocu
- Your ideas won't just be heard - you'll have the chance to make them happen

Our take
High quality notes and resources are necessary at every level of education, but at times personal notes can be incomplete or missing details. The founders of Studocu have created a platform that allows students to share notes, resources and study materials, that now holds materials from universities across the world.
With millions of users every month accessing the platform, there is undeniable demand for Studocu's services. Much of the company's popularity may be ascribed to its freemium model, which keeps 85% of its content free to access. The other 15% can be accessed by students who either upload their own study materials or pay a fee.
Studocu has seen impressive investment which has enabled it to expand substantially. It also acquired Studybees, its German counterpart, to support this expansion. Notably in 2024, Erasmus University Rotterdam filed a lawsuit against the company surrounding whether Studocu should have to proactively screen materials for copyright breaches, rather than its report/takedown approach. There do not appear to be any recent developments to this case.
