Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of product management experience at early stage and fast growing companies
- You have a track record of leading development of high quality products with technical components that meaningfully impact company outcomes
- You find delight in unpacking and solving deeply complex problems without losing sight of the big picture
- You are the champion of the customer, while remaining laser focused on delivering significant business impact
- You have experience using quantitative (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (e.g., research, user feedback) to inform product prioritization and decision-making
- You have built, or are committed to building, diverse and inclusive product teams
- You have a Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience
- You've worked in the product function of a startup and care a lot about shaping (and working in) a high-impact, collaborative organization
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a product manager to own the the end-to-end experience at Fay
- You’ll collaborate with Engineering and go-to-market teams to understand customers’ needs, define strategy and roadmap, and market and sell the solution
- You’ll own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Fay’s experience, working closely with partners across design, engineering, marketing, and operations
- You'll guide the prioritization of work and help make resourcing and prioritization tradeoffs in service of our customers’ and our company’s goals
- You’ll improve the way millions of people eat by helping hundreds of dietitians run their business, with a steady cadence of product improvements and fixes
- You’ll listen to and work with clients, dietitians, insurers, and employers, evolving the core of Fay’s product
Our take
It is widely accepted that access to holistic nutrition support is a more healthy approach to weight loss than other options. Fay is transforming nutrition counselling by linking individuals with registered dietitians through an insurance-covered platform.
Emerging from stealth in 2024, the company aims to address the widespread need for accessible and high-quality nutritional care in the US. It has an extensive network of dieticians that spans all 50 states, offering tailored nutrition plans to users. For these dieticians, the platform can help them establish their practices, manage insurance claims and match with clients.
The company recently secured a significant investment that will support its plans to integrate with food delivery services, expand insurance partnerships and enhance employer health plans. There are already over 1,000 dieticians on the platform, but Fay aims to double this number by 2025, continuing its mission to improve health outcomes through effective nutrition counselling.
