Role
Who you are
- Minimum 2+ years of direct sales experience in SaaS software and related technology industry
- Proven ability to drive and close sales deals, with a deep understanding of the sales process, customer needs, and market trends
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and nurture relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships and client loyalty
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and support, to achieve overall business objectives
- Ability to qualify inbound leads or outbound prospect target prospect accounts
- Ability to use automated technology to run their own demo
What the job involves
- As a Commercial Account Executive at Tipalti you will play a vital role in our dynamic sales team selling our SaaS Fintech solution
- Your primary focus will be achieving revenue targets through outbound sales activity and inbound leads generated through the collaborative efforts of our exceptional SDRs, Marketing, and Alliance partners
- To empower your success, we heavily invest in our sales organization, providing you with a state-of-the-art technology stack
- Leveraging tools such as SalesForce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chorus, and Clari, you will engage prospects effectively
- The role will be responsible for building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs
- This position demands a proactive, results-driven approach, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of our products or services
- Own the sales cycle - from the prospecting stage to deal close
- Consistently achieve and exceed quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives are met
- Strong understanding of the Tipalti product value and ability to communicate the business impact of our product offerings to key decision makers
- Manage the sourcing of new opportunities by meeting activity metrics
- Partner closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are meet
