What the job involves

Nearby.ai is a home services platform that connects homeowners with trusted local service providers. We're looking for a motivated intern to help expand our merchant network through local business outreach and partnership development
Research and identify local home service businesses (plumbers, electricians, cleaners, landscapers, HVAC, etc.) as potential partners
Reach out to local merchants via phone, email, in-person visits, and social media to introduce Nearby.ai and onboard them onto our platform
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners using CRM tools or spreadsheets
Assist in crafting outreach scripts, pitch decks, and partnership proposals
Collect merchant feedback to help the team improve our value proposition and onboarding process
Track outreach metrics (contacts made, response rates, conversion rates) and report weekly progress
Type: Part-time internship (10–20 hrs/week), flexible schedule
Duration: 3–6 months
