Role
Who you are
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or facilities management preferred
- 5+ years previous experience in an office coordinator, front office, or administrative support role in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Problem-solving mindset and resourcefulness. A keen eye for detail and quality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs and comfortable using basic office equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to changing needs in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in aerospace or similar industry is a plus
Desirable
- Experience opening new offices or production facilities from scratch
- Background in manufacturing or industrial workplace management, meaning you’re familiar with the unique needs of supporting a factory (e.g. supporting multiple shifts of workers, etc.) in addition to a typical office
- Experience with workplace experience programs – for instance, implementing a new visitor management system, starting an employee transportation or shuttle program, or improving ergonomics and furniture solutions
- A genuine enthusiasm for Archer’s mission and technology
What the job involves
- Greet and welcome customers, new hires, and potential candidates warmly and professionally, creating a positive and lasting first impression
- Serve as the face of the office, ensuring all guests and employees receive prompt assistance and direction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked reception, lobby, and common areas
- Restock drinks, snacks, and food items daily; maintain coffee and refreshment stations, ensuring cleanliness and availability
- Manage food deliveries, small packages, and interoffice mail, ensuring timely distribution
- Oversee basic facility needs such as supply replenishment, meeting room readiness, and cleanliness standards
- Assist in planning and executing office events, orientations, and special projects
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks including scheduling, data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Act as the primary point of contact for site-level inquiries related to office services and supplies
- Oversee on-site amenities and programs that keep the office/factory running and employees supported
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure efficient communication and operational support
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness
- Own the workplace safety and security protocols in partnership with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) and Security teams
Our take
With traffic, noise, and emissions becoming major challenges for urban life, Archer is building electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircrafts, led by its flagship model, Midnight, offering a cleaner, quieter alternative to traditional short-haul travel. The idea is simple: replace long car rides with quick, sustainable fluights that lift off vertically, fly over the gridlock, and help reduce urban pollution. It's a bold shift in transportation, but one that could meaningfully change how we navigate cities in the years ahead.
Midnight is designed to make these short flights practical, safe, and efficient. Its electric powertrain significantly reduce noise and emissions compared to helicopters (one of the biggest barriers to adopting urban air mobility at scale). However, eVTOLs face hurdles before becoming an everyday reality, including regulatory approvals, infrastructure build-out, and the operational testing needed to prove long-term safety and reliability. Archer is addressing these challenges with major manufacturing investment, deep engineering partnerships, and ongoing flight testing in the US and abroad.
Even with these barriers, Archer has been moving from success to success. The company is set to be the official air taxi provider for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. And its recent acquisition of Hawthorne Airport in LA will serve as both a launch site and an innovation hub for next-generation, AI-powered aviation operations. On the commercial side, Archer's partnerships with United Airlines and its growing international presence signal strong industry confidence. COmbines with newly expanded funding and successful long-range flight tests, Archer sure is a promising player in eVTOl aviation.
