Senior Full Stack Engineer, Dotmatics

• We are looking for people who have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent working experience and 7+ years of experience in software development, you will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills and a focus on Java and React

• 50/50 Front end - Backend experience
• Advanced Java/Spring Boot
• React and React patterns/concepts
• Javascript and other modern front-end frameworks
• Automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Databases (Oracle)
• High-level web application design
• Scaling applications to process large volumes of data and events
• RESTful APIs
• CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins
• Agile software development methodologies and practices

• Dotmatics is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java) to join our agile development team and contribute to Dotmatics’ product ecosystem
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that meet our company's needs, with a focus on ensuring quality code and contribution to the technical solution from design through to implementation
• In this role you will have the opportunity to collaborate with developers across the wider teams on best practices and processes
• Collaborate with the software development team in designing, developing, implementing high-quality software solutions utilising an agile delivery methodology
• Collaborate with product management, application science and support stakeholders to develop and maintain product features
• Contribute to the development of software architecture and design principles for the organization
• Solve challenging customer issues using a rapid delivery model
• Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and security of software solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other software engineers
• Participate in code reviews
• Help ensure the quality of the team's output.
