Who you are
- You’re an experienced Product Owner who’s led products through every stage of the lifecycle, from early ideation to post-launch refinement. With a background in Tech for Good, SaaS, or marketplace environments, you bring both industry insight and an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives on turning ideas into action
- You’re comfortable in the fast-moving world of start-ups, where ambiguity and shifting priorities are the norm. You know how to lead with clarity, crafting thoughtful product strategies and building strong relationships, whether that’s with Engineering teams or senior stakeholders
- You're a hands-on problem solver, unafraid to get into the details when needed. Prioritising high-impact work comes naturally to you, and you're always looking for opportunities to drive growth and add value quickly, without sacrificing quality
- A natural self-starter, you bring a proactive approach to everything you do. You’re focused on learning, evolving, and helping those around you grow too. You're excited about building for impact and designing with users at the heart of the process
- You’re confident in navigating Agile methodologies, product management tools, and working closely with Engineering, thanks to your strong technical understanding

- MyTenNights: Automates donations during Ramadan, ensuring contributions are made on the most spiritually significant nights
- MyTenDays: Helps Muslims automate donations during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, ensuring they don't miss the blessings of this sacred time
- MyFridays: Enables Muslims to give charity every Friday, focusing on the spiritual benefits of giving during the Hour of Acceptance, making regular charitable contributions easy to manage

- As Head of Product at Shamaazi, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to leverage technology for social good. You will define and deliver a compelling product vision, lead an experienced team of Product Managers and Designers, and drive the growth and development of our flagship products, MyTenNights, MyTenDays, and MyFridays. Collaborating closely with senior leadership and engineering, you will ensure our products deliver meaningful impact, meet user needs, and align with Shamaazi's broader growth strategy
- Setting the Vision. Define and drive a long-term product roadmap aligned with Shamaazi's mission to maximise charitable giving. Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the Tech for Good space
- Product Strategy and Roadmapping Experience building effective Product strategies, building out product roadmaps and supporting teams to deliver them and driving Product-led growth. Expert in lean approaches and agile methodologies to minimise waste and maximise impact
- Owning the Product Journey. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from planning MVPs to launching and iterating, taking products from '0 to 1' and '1 to 10.' Actively participate in day-to-day operations, including scoping opportunities, writing epics/tickets, and managing sprints
- Leading the Team. Lead and mentor a skilled team of Senior Product Designers. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align product goals with Shamaazi's overarching strategy. Partner with the Engineering team to deliver scalable, high-quality products that meet user needs
- Putting Users First. Be the voice of our users, using feedback and research to guide product development. Track and measure product performance to ensure we’re delivering value to donors, stakeholders, and the broader community. Expert in using both qual and quant data points to form user understanding, and conclusions, and guide decision making
