Who you are

At least 2nd year of a degree in mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering
Experience working with electrical and mechanical EV components
Ability to work proactively with minimal support using a logical approach in an environment with minimal documented processes
Must be self-motivated and an effective team player

Desirable

A basic understanding of High Voltage vehicle systems and safety
Experience in a Formula student team
Experience with Python or Matlab for data analysis and visualisation
Excellent CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred)
Knowledge of power electronics and inverters
Knowledge of battery system technology including cell chemistries, BMS etc

What the job involves

10-12 weeks with a start date January 2024 depending on availability
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing London based start-up that is creating an all-new range of battery storage systems for both commercial and consumer markets
You will be responsible for the design, build and test of our energy storage systems, liaising with our designers and engineers on the architecture layout
