Who you are
- 8+ years experience in CPG, Insights, and client support
- Proven experience leading and managing analytic engagements with senior stakeholders
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis
- Demonstrated comfort using AI tools to enhance analytic workflows and insight generation
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication abilities
- Strategic thinker with a strong ownership mindset and ability to independently manage senior-level inquiries
- High comfort with ambiguity and a track record of thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Experience representing analytics teams in cross-functional settings
What the job involves
- As a Senior Analytics Lead within the Analytics, Insights, & Measurement (AIM) team at Fetch, you will be instrumental in driving analytic support and insights across a designated sub-vertical. Reporting to an AIM Senior Director of Analytics, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of CPG, Insights, and client support to take ownership of analytic processes and become the go-to Analytics contact for Sales counterparts
- This role requires a high degree of agency, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in ambiguity. You will be expected to proactively identify opportunities, define problems that are not yet fully scoped, and leverage both traditional analytics and emerging AI tools to drive smarter, faster, and more scalable insights
- This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States
- Analytical Leadership
- Take ownership as the DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for all partners within a designated sub-vertical
- Act as the primary Analytics contact for Sales VPs, requiring little oversight from the Analytics Director and Senior Director
- Demonstrate strong agency by proactively identifying analytic gaps, proposing solutions, and driving initiatives forward without waiting for explicit direction
- Operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments, helping define analytic frameworks where processes are not yet fully established
- Support your team and effectively manage the capacity of your peers to ensure deadlines are met and projects are properly prioritized
- Client Support and Insights
- Utilize extensive knowledge of Fetch's offerings to positively impact partner performance
- Independently manage senior-level partner questions, demonstrating deep expertise in CPG or Restaurant/Retail data and insights
- Lead analytic engagement during client calls, showcasing experience in client interaction, objection handling, and problem resolution
- Translate complex, and at times incomplete, business questions into clear analytic approaches and actionable recommendations
- Data, AI, and Storytelling
- Manipulate data effectively using SQL, ensuring accurate and insightful analysis
- Leverage AI tools and automation thoughtfully to increase analytic efficiency, enhance insight generation, and scale impact across partners
- Demonstrate comfort experimenting with emerging AI capabilities to improve workflows, storytelling, and measurement approaches
- Craft compelling narratives and insights, effectively communicating analytic findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a way that leads to clear recommendations and proposed next steps
- Contribute to the evolution of analytic frameworks, measurement methodologies, and AI-enabled capabilities across the team
- Influence and Representation
- Influence Sales verticals to run campaigns better suited to hitting partner KPIs, driving strategic alignment
- Collaborate in crafting narratives for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), providing valuable insights into Fetch performance
- Serve as a visible and trusted thought partner across cross-functional stakeholders, confidently representing analytics in high-stakes internal and external discussions
Our take
Leading mobile shopping and loyalty platform Fetch has seen explosive success in recent years. Its concept is simple: users receive spendable points in exchange for scans of their shopping receipts.
The app has tens of millions of daily active users with even more downloads, and has seen impressive growth, having now reached 'unicorn' status twice over. This should come as no surprise. Brand reinforcement is crucial to customer retention and acquisition - but it is harder than ever, with the fragmentation of choice on the market and the declining efficacy of marketing. So material loyalty benefits are likely to prove a crucial tool in creating and leveraging a strong customer base.
Whilst Fetch faces competition from similar receipt-scan rewards platforms like ReceiptPal and Ibotta, it grew into a profitable company in late 2023. And its using its most recent Morgan Stanley-backed funding to aggressively add brand partners at a competitive pace and onboard staff at a level that promises strong continued growth.
