Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with visual analysis applications and Business Intelligence software and the ability to provide insights from the data (Looker & Omni)
- Hands-on knowledge of data structure of commercial tools (experience with Google Analytics and Hubspot is a plus)
- You can communicate ideas and insights in a clear, direct and structured manner. You have a keen eye for design and are a natural storyteller with data
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop solutions from new data sources and build dashboards and automated reporting that will serve as the truth for analysts, managers and business users
- Experience with DBT and Snowflake
- Proficient in writing analytical and performant SQL, able to deal with the integration of various structured and semi-structured data sources
- Data warehouse and BI tool experience in multi-terabyte/petabyte environments
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a field with an emphasis in Business, Marketing or a quantitative field
- Solid understanding of how to model data from a wide variety of PaaS/SaaS providers, e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe
- Experience in testing practices and writing modular components that will be reusable across the business
- SaaS/Tech/Startup experience (smaller companies preferred) - this person needs to have experience in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable multi-tasking
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team
- This person will develop and maintain commercial analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the marketing and sales teams
- Measure ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns
- Develop and maintain Marketing Intelligence content in the form of reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across sales, marketing, and customer success
- Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
- Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)
- Accelerate revenue by owning and executing market segmentation analysis to ensure the team is focused on the most valuable target accounts
- Understand process bottlenecks and inconsistencies to implement data enrichment processes to improve the commercial team’s performance
- Deliver top-quality, audience-appropriate communication for data + segmentation, campaigns, etc
