Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in internal communications, employee experience, or organizational change at a high-growth tech company
- Proven ability to manage and scale internal comms programs, including for global and remote teams
- Comfortable advising executives, navigating sensitive questions, and translating strategy into clear, compelling messaging
- Deep familiarity with Slack, GSuite, and communications tooling like Polly, Zoom, Asana, and Notion
- Strong writing, editing, slide design, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in or alongside Marketing, Operations, and/or People teams
- Have a nose for what matters: You can translate big picture strategy into what teams need to know and do today
- Balance speed and polish under pressure, with the judgment to know when each is needed
- Are energized by complexity and ambiguity, and can bring order to chaos with confidence and care
- Value clarity over cleverness in writing, and consistency over noise in systems
- Stay curious and open to growth — actively building fluency in emerging technologies like AI to unlock creativity, accelerate progress, and amplify impact
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an experienced Senior Internal Communications Manager to help us build a stronger, more connected, and better-informed team through consistent, high-quality internal storytelling and strategic programs that align our people with our mission
- This highly cross-functional role will be responsible for shaping how we communicate with our employees: ensuring our people are informed, inspired, and aligned as Webflow scales
- You’ll lead the strategy and execution for company-wide communications, including our All-Team meetings, weekly updates, leadership messaging, and change communications
- In this role, you’ll work closely with our executive team, People org, and cross-functional leaders to build trust, drive clarity, and strengthen our internal culture through clear, consistent storytelling
- Reporting to the Communications Lead
- Own and evolve internal communications strategy across the company to drive clarity, alignment, and engagement
- Lead end-to-end planning, facilitation, and follow-through for company-wide meetings, including monthly All-Team and quarterly Town Hall events
- Manage and continuously improve weekly internal comms channels
- Partner with execs, EAs, and cross-functional leads to shape narratives, clarify change communications, and amplify high-impact updates
- Collaborate with the People team on DEI communications, employer brand strategy, and promotion or recognition campaigns
- Build scalable playbooks, content calendars, and message templates for managers and directors to use across their teams
- Help define the tone, rhythm, and operating system of how we communicate as a fully remote company
- In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role
