What the job involves

You and your team will be selling Aira Air Source Heat Pumps, and you will be responsible for making sure that customer home surveys are carried out effectively and efficiently
You'll do this through close collaboration with your team, proactively delivering training and support, and managing performance
This is a field-based role, and you'll spend the majority of your time with customers and your expert sales team
Taking operational control of your sales team, ensuring they are supported in meeting individual and group targets
You will have overall responsibility for the quality of customer home surveys and customer service of your team
Leading by example with your own customer home surveys, following in-house sales methodology to achieve strong conversion rates and pipeline sales
Implementing tailored performance improvement plans when needed
Delivering specific, accurate technical guidance to your team on all aspects of heat pump installation, regional regulations and standards, and baseline calculations
You will manage team capacity and scheduling, ensuring that we create capacity when customers want to see us. This includes weekends and evenings
Reporting all sales numbers, checking every non viable visit, and ensure we are selling correctly at all times
Ensuring targets are given fairly and achieved each month for your expert sales team, reporting sales numbers and celebrating success
Confirming commission payments with your team, and running onboarding and training session to ensure your expert sales team are always prepared

Our take

Furnaces and air conditioners used in many homes are massive greenhouse emitters, which is a significant problem for our climate. Meet Aira, who are manufacturing and selling energy-efficient and climate-friendly alternatives. It’s not just energy efficiency that is driving the heat pump market; heating cost reductions of up to 40% paired with CO2 emission reductions of up to 75% combine to make air source heat pumps much better value for money.

Aira’s heat pump technology is infused with software that allows it to adapt and regulate to the unique environments in which it’s installed. Affordable payment plans are just another incentive to switch to a cleaner energy source.

Aira’s focus at present is the European market. Its 2024-raised 64 million euros will accelerate the production of Aira pumps in Poland-based plants, whilst focusing its expansion efforts on Germany, Italy and the UK. The substantial capital raise will also help the company develop new products and services for its customers.
