People Operations Generalist, Blockstream

• 3+ years in People Operations, HR Generalist, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• The ability to build trust, credibility, and strong relationships across the company
• Comfort working with a globally distributed team across time zones
• Based on the East Coast or willing to work Eastern business hours
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google Workspace (Ashby experience is a plus)

• Reporting directly to the Director of People, this role will make a big impact on the employee experience at Blockstream
• You’ll partner with leaders and teammates across the globe to deliver top-notch HR services, build engagement, and ensure we continue to grow in a compliant and people-first way
• Be a trusted go-to resource for employees, answering questions on policies, benefits, and processes
• Lead onboarding and create a welcoming, seamless start for every new team member
• Partner with managers to support and resolve employee concerns with care and consistency
• Bring people together by organizing engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities
• Maintain accurate and confidential HRIS records
• Manage benefits programs and coordinate with vendors
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple regions
• Support the development of handbooks, policies, and procedures that guide our people practices
• Support recruiting efforts through job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
• Assist with performance reviews, goal setting, and career development initiatives
• Help identify training needs and coordinate meaningful learning opportunities
