Role
Who you are
- 7-10 years of sales experience including strong prospecting and closing experience in B2G (Business to Government) SaaS companies, strong preference for law enforcement sales
- 5+ years building and leading high-performing sales teams in high-growth companies
- A track record of success in both of these roles, ideally selling a complex cloud solution into net new enterprise accounts, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references
- Track record of developing and coaching individuals to be future stars in new roles
- Familiarity with solution-based selling, experience managing a complex sales process through government procurement processes
- Advanced sales modeling, forecasting, and pipeline analysis skills in Salesforce and other sales technology tools
- The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in major metropolitan areas
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a successful sales manager with a proven track record of success to lead one of our US law enforcement sales teams
- This team has an ambitious bookings goal for FY25, with a mandate to “Zero to One” multiple new territories with a team of experienced Account Executives
- This role’s primary objective is to ensure this goal is achieved and the team has all the necessary tools, enablement, and resources to see results
- You’ll be responsible for managing, developing, and hiring your Account Executive team, own the forecasting reports, and assist with various sales components like territory constructs, procurement processes, and working cross functionally with other GTM teams to ensure success
- You are a goal-oriented leader with perseverance and grit to meet and exceed quota requirements. You can also organize a group of highly effective field-based sellers through creative strategies and thoughtful planning to deliver outcomes
- You are a builder who thrives in ambiguous environments and has successfully created something from 0 to 1. You know how to chase new logos and grow a pipeline from the ground up
- You have established and led a team culture that promotes action, ownership, teamwork, accountability, and empathy
- You are a true believer in Peregrine’s mission and can naturally inspire your team and customers in the value proposition and importance of our platform
- You are a collaborator at heart. You love solving hard problems and work closely with Product, Implementation, Marketing, and Solutioning to build and close pipeline in new markets
- You are an analytical thinker who leverages reports daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly to view impact and make necessary changes for your team and for leadership
Our take
With the digitisation of emergency response organisations, data and incident reporting is speeding up, but this presents a problem if this information is not digestible. Emergency responders must be able to quickly translate and understand information as it comes in, or risk this faster flow of data being made redundant.
Peregrine is a data integration platform that improves emergency responses by making data more accessible, understandable and actionable. The platform can be used for public safety at different scales, such as building, city or region-wide. Its machine learning capabilities are also able to collate raw surveillance data, linking people, places and events to track targets or potential criminal activity.
With a founding team that boasts experience in both security and environmental risk analysis, Peregrine shows the potential to bridge the gap between tech and law enforcement. Funding is being channelled into accelerating the company's growth as it looks to double its employee headcount in the near future.
