Who you are
- Experience crafting and deploying HR systems and processes
- Experience with core HR domains, including performance development, workforce management, people data analysis, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations
- Experience influencing and advising senior leaders on sophisticated employment matters
- Strong project leadership skills
- Master’s degree in HR, IR, or similar field
- Experience in HRLDP or similar development program experience
- Experience with employee relations, performance management, team efficiency, and employee engagement strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent years of experience
- 12+ years experience in human resources

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Manager Human Resources to join the People Team in our New York office!
- Responsible for building and scaling outstanding HR programs and processes across Snap
- Be a strong partner for business leaders and recruiting partners to deliver end-to-end talent management solutions
- Serve as the lead HR Business Partner for senior leaders, including C-level executives, across multiple business functions
- Demonstrate your knowledge and experience with sophisticated employment issues to drive high integrity employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution strategies
- Develop influence that results in data driven employment decisions that align with Snap Values
- Provide coaching and mentorship to senior leaders, their teams and Snap team members that enables high team and individual performance
- Focus on crafting phenomenal teams through employee listening strategies and engagement action planning
- Drive Snap values and dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion into people programs and processes
- Drive cycles of continuous improvement that simplify HR service delivery
Our take
Snap Inc. is the social-media company behind Snapchat, a mobile app launched in 2011 that prioritises visual and emotive communication over traditional texting. Born from a desire to share real-time moments with authenticity, the app now boasts a massive global reach with daily active users surpassing 460M and monthly active users well beyond 900M.
After rejecting a billion-dollar acquisition offer from MEta Platforms (then Facebook) in 2023, Snapchat entered into a long-term rivalry with Meta's apps (most notably Instagram). Snap has yet to post a full-year profit since going public in 2017, but the company is clearly making progress. In Q1 2025 the net loss was narrowed to roughly $140M, down from $305M the year before, and revenue rose 14% to $1.36B. Advertising revenue remains periodic and macro-factors still pose headwinds, yet Snaps enduring popularity and its expanding product mix suggest that further success appears likely.
