What the job involves
- We are looking for a positive, dynamic, and people-focused Fundings Team Lead to manage and inspire a team of 13 specialists. This team is responsible for setting up and requesting funding, a critical task that requires accuracy, consistency, and motivation.
- The Team Lead will play a key role in driving team engagement, maintaining high performance, and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
- Lead, coach, and support a team of 13 Funding Specialists, fostering a positive and high-energy team culture
- Communicate operational and technical changes clearly, quickly, and effectively to ensure the team is always aligned with current processes and tools
- Monitor team performance through data analysis, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Champion continuous improvement by recommending and implementing process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy
- Deliver regular performance updates, insights, and reports to senior management
- Support the personal development of team members through regular 1:1s, feedback, and growth opportunities
- Act as a point of contact for escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end funding processes

Despite this, YouLend's focus on online merchants has allowed it to remain competitive in its offering. What's more, the company's revenue-based repayments system differentiates its solution from more established loan options.
YouLend's flexibility and the speed with which merchants can obtain funding has allowed it to gain a foothold in the growing embedded finance market. However, it will need to focus on growing its customer base even further if it wants to scale in this competitive space.
