Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a few years experience managing a high-performance sales team and achieving sales targets
- This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate and mentor a team of sales professionals
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in a similar industry and company size
- Proven track record of successfully managing a sales team and achieving sales targets
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable strategies
- Results-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and the G-suite of products
What the job involves
- SchooLinks is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to manage our SMB Account Executives
- Lead and manage a team of Account Executives, setting clear goals, targets, and objectives
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure the team meets or exceeds targets
- Coach, mentor, and train sales team members on effective sales techniques and strategies
- Conduct regular performance evaluations to provide constructive feedback and support professional development in real time
- Ability to run pipeline review and forecast
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment in sales strategies
- Not afraid of rolling up sleeves and be in the deal with the reps
- Attend tradeshows and help coach reps in action
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Be a good steward of our PACE driven culture

For example, a partnership with Common App has enabled students using SchoolLinks to directly apply to over 900 higher education institutions with ease.
SchooLink's most notable competitor is Naviance, another company supplying college and career readiness tools, which has also seen significant progress in the market.
