Role
Who you are
- If you’re an experienced People leader who combines strategic thinking with a people-first mindset, this is your chance!
- We’re looking for a senior People & Culture professional who thrives in a high-growth environment and understands that great businesses are built on great people
- 7+ years of HR experience, with at least some experience in a leadership role
- A proven track record in scaling HR functions, ideally within a scale-up or high-growth company (300+ employees preferred)
- Deep knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR best practices
- Project management experience within HR
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution skills – You know how to build frameworks but also how to roll up your sleeves and make things happen
- A highly empathetic approach – You prioritize people, understand diverse perspectives, and create an environment where employees feel valued and supported
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills – You leverage data to shape strategies and drive continuous improvement
- Experience with scaling across multiple countries is a strong plus
- Current residency in the Netherlands or willing to relocate (as this is not a remote position)
- Fluency in Dutch (preferred) and English communication skills

- As our Head of People & Culture, you’ll take the lead in shaping and scaling our people strategy, encouraging an inspiring, supportive workplace, and ensuring our culture evolves with us
- Shape Our Future: As Head of People & Culture, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to further build the People strategy and align people with business goals as we scale
- Real Impact: You’ll lead People & Culture through a growth phase, helping to maintain a culture that empowers employees, increases performance, and supports well-being
- Be Part of Something Meaningful: Strengthen and optimize People systems, frameworks, and processes that will support our mission for years to come
- Lead and inspire a high-performing People team that can support our rapid growth while maintaining a culture of trust, collaboration, and transparency
- Ensure our core values remain front and center as we scale. You’ll actively promote a high-performing workplace where employees feel valued and empowered
- Help create frameworks for performance management, career development, and leadership that support employees at every stage of their journey with us
- Manage compensation and benefits, and ensure all processes align with Dutch labor laws and CAO regulations
- Continuously improve engagement and retention using data-driven insights to ensure our employees feel heard, valued, and supported
- Drive efficiency across all People functions, from payroll and benefits to employee relations, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence

What sets Quatt apart is its seamless integration into existing home setups, requiring no additional modifications. Utilizing advanced machine learning technologies, these heat pumps adapt and optimise energy usage autonomously, ensuring maximum efficiency.
Identifying a significant gap in the market, Quatt aims to address the needs of approximately 7.5M homes in the Netherlands lacking a heat pump system. With 2024 funding secured, the company is poised to embark on an ambitious journey, aiming to introduce its solution to a million households by 2030, making significant strides towards a more sustainable future.
