Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for a talented and innovative Product Manager, a leader by nature, and passionate about building the most innovative products for the leading SaaS platform for Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field
- 10 or more years of total experience experience in the tech or telecom industry related to product management; at least (5) of those years should be focused on business intelligence or analytics products for companies in the Telecom industry
- Experience working with WiFi/Wireless technology preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute on product plans
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions

- Our 360° platform helps Providers deploy best-in-class WiFi experiences with breakthrough efficiency
- As the only open and hardware-independent solution, Plume enables the rapid delivery of new services for connected homes, multi-family houses, small business, and beyond at massive scale
- For residential subscribers, Plume delivers self-optimizing WiFi, cyber-security, access controls, and more
- Design, develop and manage our Business Intelligence solutions for ISPs,from product strategy through development, production and release
- Engage closely with ISP stakeholders to understand their focus areas and needs, and develop awesome solutions to help them excel in their jobs
- Be the centralized resource that defines, designs, and tests the product(s) as they move from production to distribution
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical product requirements
- Assess timelines, review technical specifications, and participate in security, scalability and infrastructure activities
- Ensure that the product is thoroughly tested and meets quality standards
- Monitor product’s performance post-launch, including gathering feedback, reviewing product analytics and developing the enhancements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and prioritize feature implementation
Our take
Smart devices within the home have become the norm, but Plume Design believes that this influx of revolutionary home tech is only as smart as the networks that support them. With many issues concerning smart devices, treatment is reliant on generic WiFi, unsafe networks, and expensive analysis. Plume Design remedies this with cloud-controlled internet platforms that are defined by the needs of the devices that use them.
With home office setups now the norm, Plume has fast become a necessary service for many small businesses and casual users. Its smart Wi-Fi networks are ground-level products upon which Plume offers more smart home services and it now has more than a billion devices on its network.
With substantial funding behind it, Plume’s post-COVID surge in business was one thing, but keeping up the momentum throughout the 2020s is quite another. Time will tell if the company can continue on its upward trajectory. But as long as it keeps its networks fresh (as it did in 2022 through its partnership with opensync software agent SamKnows), it shouldn’t have a problem as it scales up.
