Role
Who you are
- Bac +4 / +5 in business school (in France or abroad)
- 2 / 3 years’ experience in M&A / Investment Banking
- Previous experience in the Fintech ecosystem / Financial Services is a plus
- Fluent in French & English spoken & written
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail, rigorous and proactive
What the job involves
- The Strategy, FP&A and Investor Relations team is in charge of defining strategic initiatives, building and monitoring the business plan with key stakeholders, preparing board materials and discussions, managing equity investor relations as well as identifying and executing potential M&A opportunities
- Providing strategic recommendations
- Working with ExCo and Business Units on growth initiatives per country
- Supporting launch of various new product / service initiatives
- Steering or supporting transformation projects
- Supporting in the identification and execution of potential strategic partnership and/or M&A opportunities
- Developing and fostering business excellence across the Group
- Supporting on main FP&A missions:
- Financial planning and budgeting process (twice a year)
- Conducting relevant analyses: business trajectories / opportunities, accounting treatments, etc
- Providing insights and preparing presentation to the Exco and the Board
- The Strategy, FP&A and Investor Relations team is at the heart of Younited’s strategy and decision-making process. Its role will become increasingly crucial in Younited’s next phase of development. As Strategy and M&A manager, you will play a key role, will benefit from a 360-view of the Company and a high exposure to ExCo members

Younited is an instant credit provider that specialises in personal loans, extended payment solutions and budget coaching. The company differs from its competitors in automating request processes as much as possible, using data-driven and AI-based approaches.
Younited takes advantage of DSP2 regulation and open-banking APIs to ingest data, and has been working to embed its product into third-party products like banks and fintech companies. It already has a broad presence in Europe, with operations in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Austria.
The company has attracted significant funding in the past, which it has invested in furthering its technology and nurturing partnerships. This has mainly been with eCommerce websites and apps, notably on "buy now pay later" software.
