Who you are
- You have extensive experience in designing for acquisition and conversion across various mediums including landing pages, advertising, email, and video production
- You are skilled in managing creative teams, promoting high standards, innovation, and risk-taking while blending business acumen with versatile design skills focused on delivering exceptional customer value
- You have a keen sense for how to build a brand: avoiding tropes, using data, and advocating for a distinctive approach
- You’re data-driven in decision-making, even when evaluating abstract concepts like brand consistency, and able to collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a cohesive product and brand voice
- You are proficient in the Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with illustration and video production being ideal, but not required skills
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Creative Director to fuel our customer acquisition and retention efforts with world-class design and brand building
- You’ll lead a team of three and report directly into the VP of Growth
- Leading our brand and growth design team to deliver distinctive designs across our growth portfolio including: advertising, landing pages, collateral, and emails
- Building and coaching a world class design team that generates growth vs. just enabling growth functions
- Contributing as a leader, manager, and doer, able to lead a high-performing team and pull up your sleeves and deliver top-notch design work when necessary
- Implementing measurement frameworks - brand awareness, recall, conversion, NPS etc - to evaluate output objectively, and using data to inform design choices
Our take
Mental health issues affect about 20% of Americans, so there’s an immense need for qualified mental healthcare in the US. However the vast majority of therapists don’t accept insurance due to the prohibitive administrative workload involved. This leaves therapy out of reach for many Americans. So it’s no surprise that the Grow Therapy platform has seen skyrocketing popularity since it was founded in 2020.
Grow Therapy helps therapists open their own in-network practices, providing the technology, support, and resources to tackle the extra operational workload that would allow them to take insurance. It’s live across a number of states, and works in partnership with all the major insurance payers including Humana, Aetna and Cigna.
The company is competing with larger rivals like Alma and Quartet Health, but this should be a big enough market for several major participants. Grow has secured good funding which supports the launch of its enhanced measurement-informed care system, which will help improve the care experience for clients and providers and make value-based behavioral care accessible for more patients.
