Role
Who you are
- You are the creative mind behind developing new features and continuously enhancing the experience of our popular app
- You bring 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a focus on apps
- You’re skilled in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and experienced in using design systems
- You have hands-on experience with user research, user testing, and A/B testing
- You’re accustomed to working interactively—forming, testing, and re-evaluating hypotheses
- You take a proactive, goal-oriented approach and can independently set priorities
- You’re open to debating ideas and also receptive to constructive feedback
- You constantly ask yourself how things could be made even simpler
- You’re ideally fluent in both German and English
What the job involves
- As a Product Designer (m/f/d), you play a central role in crafting exceptional digital experiences for families across Germany
- You ensure our community enjoys a great product experience while learning to manage money
- You create innovative solutions for complex problems, helping to continuously improve Bling’s products
- You design wireframes and prototypes, collaborating closely with the product team to develop them into final designs
- You plan and conduct user tests to continuously enhance the usability and user experience of the Bling app
- You evolve our design language and improve our design system on an ongoing basis
- You stay aligned with company and team goals, actively contributing to their achievement

Our take
Founded to improve financial and media literacy in the family unit, Bling is a financial management app that combines pocket money, mobile plans, savings and investments into one mobile app. It works with partner banks and companies to provide its customers with deals and tools, saving time alongside cash.
Partnerships with Societe Generale and Mastercard to offer bank-affiliated savings accounts and investment schemes preceded 2024’s release of a mobile plan via European Telkom. With $12 million invested in the company in 2024, Bling has more than quadrupled its value. It will be investing its capital in more products, though for the time being its focus market will remain on the EU.
