Who you are
- Are you a self-motivated and established sales professional that wants to make money selling an innovative technology while also solving crime?

- 5+ years of technology/SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years in enterprise sales
- Proven track record of consistently achieving $1M+ ARR annually
- Ability to manage the full sales funnel, including inbound and outbound prospecting, needs analysis, platform demos, solution development, proposals, and closing
- Demonstrated success in booking deals and building pipelines independently—you’re essentially your own SDR in this role
- Experience collaborating closely with teams such as Customer Success, Product, Project Management, and Mid-Market Sales
What the job involves
- Flock is looking to add an Strategic Account Executive to our growing Private Sector sales team
- This person will play a key role in helping Flock grow, owning demand generation, partnerships, and full-cycle software sales
- The First 30 Days
- The first week focuses on high-level onboarding, including joining the company, setting up technology, and initiating impactful actions. In the second week, activities could include attending team offsite events, mastering platform use cases, and finalizing account lists. By the third week, you should be actively managing accounts and participating in internal meetings and events. The fourth week emphasizes prospecting and preparing for upcoming events while ensuring control over owned accounts
- The First 60 Days
- In the next 60 days, the focus is on strengthening internal relationships and operational efficiency, with objectives including driving relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, optimizing the forecasting process, and maximizing engagement
- 90 Days & Beyond
- In the next 90 days, key objectives include closing the first significant deal and advancing projects and conversations with target accounts. Clarifying sales resources and defining specific objectives for both individual and internal team support is crucial

Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day
- The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more
Our take
Public vehicle surveillance provides valuable insights to emergency services for the prevention of crime, but bringing information together to create leads is difficult. There's no standardised system for inter-city vehicle surveillance, and this makes it difficult for communities and law enforcement services to work together.
Flock Safety provides surveillance equipment that aims to improve the abilities of law enforcement and homeowner associations to communicate data with each other. The company focuses on vehicle surveillance, innovating on existing technology by using machine learning to categorise vehicles by color, license plate, state, and other data points.
Whilst automated surveillance equipment is used daily within federal police forces, Flock Safety builds technology systems that provide a means for smaller law enforcement agencies to quantify and share surveillance data easily.
