Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of social ads experience, hands on, executing, and optimizing on ad campaigns based on data trends (bonus for in-house growth experience at a DTC company)
- Intensely data-driven in your approach to solving problems, with a persistent desire to look for opportunities through data analysis, go multiple levels deep, understand, and take action
- Motivated by learning and mastering new things; constantly testing & learning to figure things out; willing to take calculated risks
- Experience working with complex omni-channel attribution models
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Sr. Associate, Growth Marketing to run our paid social channel efforts across both Harry’s and Flamingo brands
- In this highly data-driven, analytical role, you will own the strategy, creative development, execution, and optimization to drive profitable growth through managing digital marketing campaigns across Paid Social platforms (ie Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc)
- You will run programs that have a direct impact on the growth of Harry’s omni-channel business through your management of these existing channels, while exploring other marketing channels that will drive new customer acquisition
- Define strategy, manage, and efficiently scale customer acquisition, primarily through Paid Social channels
- Lead and perform campaign planning, execution and optimization to deliver sales and ROI targets
- Set and manage monthly and yearly goals for profitable growth in new customer acquisition in the channels you lead
- Track and report on performance, identifying key wins and learnings to advise future campaigns
- Manage campaigns in platforms across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc, optimizing targeting, offers, creative, and landing page experiences
- Lead creative development workstreams, defining ad creative strategy for your channels and working closely with the growth creative development team and agencies to deliver breakthrough ad content
- Identify opportunities to expand into new digital channels
- Work cross-functionally on projects across Harry’s and Flamingo portfolio of products
- Track emerging social trends and identify new, innovative ways to evolve social strategy, grow the audience and drive new customers
- Partner with the Creative Strategist & Growth Designer on a day to day basis to produce best in class creative based on detailed channel analysis
- Report to Director of Growth Marketing
- Work side-by-side with a best-in-class Growth team - Performance Marketing, Creative Development, and Analytics
- Internal teams at Harry’s including Product, Lifecycle & Engagement, Brand Marketing, and more
- Manage external vendors and agency partners across various marketing channels and tools
Our take
Harry’s Inc shot to fame in the years after its 2012 launch for developing and selling high quality, affordable men’s shaving and grooming products online. Between then and now, the company has grown tremendously, expanding into major retail stores, and launching three more brands: Women’s shaving products company Flamingo, hair care-focused Headquarters, as well as cat food brand Cat Person.
Though a billion dollar sale to consumer brand corporation Edgewell was surprisingly blocked by the Federal Trade Commission in 2020, Harry’s product and brand diversification actually led to a significant boost in sales.
The blocked sale of the company, while a shock at the time, has proven to be a blessing in disguise. Harry’s has gone on to raise hundreds of millions of dollars, which it has used to expand its portfolio of brands – all in keeping with its aim of becoming a major multi-category consumer packaged goods (CPG) company.
