Who you are

You have an academic degree in an analytical subject (e.g. statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics, data science, operations research, engineering or similar)
You have experience in quantitative analytics with a focus on statistical modeling, machine learning, forecasting, and/or predictive analytics in the industry or academic research
You are proficient in Python and the data related libraries
You have experience working with data warehouses and using data engineering best practices (e.g. SQL, dbt, CI/CD, testing, Git)
You have knowledge of statistics -- using statistical concepts in predictive modeling, forecasting, causal inference, and statistical testing
You like to collaborate with your colleagues. You ask colleagues when you're stuck and help them out when they are. You discuss ideas and challenges

What the job involves

Develop, improve, deploy, and maintain predictive data models such as live customer segmentation, customer no-show predictions, trip recommendations, profitability predictions and marketing optimizations
Extract information and new features out of internal and external data sources and synthesize it to improve our model performance
Own and analyze AB tests for new features in our products and on our website
Work as one team with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and business users to maintain and improve our data infrastructure
