Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of professional experience with b2b or enterprise software product design
- Experience working with web applications
- Experience working at a company at series B or earlier
- Experience working on both accelerated and long term initiatives
- Experience owning features through the entire design process, from user research to visual design
- Collaborating directly with Product Managers and Engineers
- Experience with user testing and customer interviews
Desirable
- Experience creating and maintaining a design system
What the job involves
- The product design team’s mission at Orum is to create simple, intuitive, enjoyable experiences that influence how sales teams excel at their jobs
- We are quickly building new workflows and improving existing features, so you will have a chance to have a major input in shaping the UI and UX for a diverse range of use cases
- As a Senior Product Designer at Orum, you will work closely with our product team and developers to create user-centered, elegant, intuitive digital products
- You’ll have the opportunity to exercise your creativity and analytical thinking skills to distill complex information and workflows into compelling experiences that our customers are excited to use daily
- This person will collaborate with engineering, product, and designers to influence a product that hosts approximately 5 million calls per month!
- Create simple, intuitive, and enjoyable user experiences for the end user
- Build and improve new workflows and features for a diverse range of use cases
- Collaborate with the product team and developers to create user-centered, elegant, and intuitive digital products

Our take
While Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce and Salesloft have undoubtedly helped shorten the sales cycle, particularly by helping generate high value leads, the onus is still on sales teams to manually reach out to potential customers.
This part of the sales process has long been taken at face value, despite how much time sales agents lose by calling bad numbers, reaching voicemail, and navigating existing account data.
Orum is aiming to change this with an AI powered platform that filters out poor numbers and automates voicemails while calling multiple numbers simultaneously, all in a bid to get sales reps on live calls as quickly and often as possible. That Orum plugs into the major CRMs like Salesforce, rather than competing with them, should help its cause.
Orum’s trajectory has been very positive thus far, frequently expanding its headcount, achieving impressive Series B funding and winning a number of high-profile customers such as Salesforce partner Simplus and data protection company Clumio.
