Role
Who you are
- We are looking for an organized and people-oriented Senior Account Manager for our Business Development team
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fluent in the luxury and retail market, committed to providing top-tier customer service as well as comfortable working across a variety of departments, including Brand, Operations, and Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a retail, brand or wholesale environment - fashion, luxury a plus
- Confidence in manipulating and reporting on data
- Experience building a book of business
- Confidentiality and discretion is a MUST
- High level interpersonal, communication, and written skills
- Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
- A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willingness (and ability) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
- Mac and Excel proficiency, understanding of web-based platforms, and comfortable managing URL links

- At GOAT Group, the Business Development team is central to the strategic growth of our company
- Composed of individual teams that handle Strategy, New Business Initiatives, Partnerships and Account Management, the department leads a global supply-focused initiative that works with brand partners, retailers and power sellers to secure new inventory and widen exposure for GOAT Group
- As our company continues to expand both at home and abroad, you will play an integral part in this exciting next chapter
- Maintain and optimize key seller relationships through business management, outreach and strategic planning
- Track KPIs for your accounts, with a proactive approach to addressing any areas of concern
- Assess each account’s status, performance and full potential to identify additional growth opportunities
- Identify themes and opportunity areas for our accounts, proposing action plans where necessary
- Lead execution of account initiatives and team projects
- Collaborate with internal teams in ensuring product is listed for sale in a timely manner
- Use data-informed guidance, to help accounts achieve growth on our platform
- Externally present business updates and insights to accounts on a regular basis, identifying key opportunities
- Efficiently resolve any account issues or questions, partnering with our Operations team
- Provide dedicated customer support for our power sellers
- Drive business by prospecting existing connections and proactively sourcing new accounts

GOAT is a resale marketplace with a focus on sneakers, that pioneered the ship-to-verify model. GOAT customers can be sure that their sneakers are authentic, which is especially important for the highly-sought after items that populate GOAT's website and mobile app.
The company has attempted to gain an edge over competitors, such as StockX, by beginning to authenticate items using Nvidia's deep-learning algorithms. Strategic acquisitions of the physical retailer Flight Club and streetwear marketplace Grailed have contributed to GOAT's expansion into brick-and-mortal sales, and online diversification, respectively.
