Who you are
- The ideal candidate has strong banking or fintech experience, excellent project management discipline, and the ability to drive momentum across multiple stakeholders while solving technical and operational challenges during implementation
- 5+ years of implementation, onboarding, or project management experience in banking, fintech, or enterprise SaaS
- Strong understanding of banking systems and digital banking implementations
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to drive projects forward and hold stakeholders accountable to timelines
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to lead discussions with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills to identify configuration or integration issues
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Ability to translate technical issues into clear action items for clients and internal teams
- Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability in fast-moving environments

- Experience with digital banking conversions
- Experience working with credit unions or community banks
- Familiarity with core banking systems and fintech integrations
- Experience managing multi-vendor implementation projects
What the job involves
- We are looking for an Implementation Manager to lead digital banking and product implementation projects for financial institutions
- This role is critical to ensuring successful client launches. You will own the full implementation lifecycle, working closely with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to deliver projects on schedule while ensuring a smooth experience for financial institutions and their members
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for Bankjoy digital banking and related products
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful client launches
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success
- Drive client readiness by leading implementation meetings and ensuring progress against timelines
- Identify and remove roadblocks by working with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors
- Configure products to meet client requirements
- Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues during implementation and testing phases
- Oversee testing cycles including UAT and go-live readiness validation
- Support digital banking conversions and major platform launches
- Ensure clients complete all required setup tasks and testing before go-live
- Provide clear communication and status updates to stakeholders throughout the implementation process
- Assist with post-launch stabilization and issue resolution
- Document implementation best practices and continuously improve implementation processes

Modern consumers expect slick mobile banking apps, but whilst major nationwide banks can easily develop and deploy a sophisticated and secure system for their customers, smaller banks and credit unions often lack the resources to do this. Alongside the 2023 launch of its "Online Account Opening 2.0", which enables financial institutions to quickly and seamlessly onboard new members and clients, Bankjoy won the 2024 Best Digital Banking Platform Award at the Fintech Breakthrough Awards. It's also secured impressive funding to support its continued growth and product innovation.
