Role
Who you are
- Relevant experience (4+ years) in a similar role
- HS Diploma or GED required
Desirable
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Experience working within a large company supporting multiple staff
- Previous corporate legal department or law firm experience
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure, attention to detail, multi-task, and manage conflicting priorities
- Exemplary organization, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to think outside the box, problem-solve, and overcome obstacles independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Pro and ability to quickly learn other enterprise technologies
What the job involves
- Supporting the EVP, Chief Legal Officer, and her direct staff
- Expense reporting for other executives
- Executive offsite planning
- Providing a wide range of administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, coordinating travel arrangements, coordinating expense reports, and tracking progress
- Preparing, editing, proofreading and organizing presentations, reports, and other documents
- Helping with the organization and maintenance of digital files, systems, databases, and intranet sites
- Assisting the head of Legal and Board Operations with legal billing, law firm/vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, and monthly accruals initiatives
- Conducting online research and assisting in gathering information for ongoing projects and initiatives
- Identifying and supporting opportunities for process efficiencies, automation, and other ways to utilize technology within the Legal and Transformation Teams
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Supporting other projects and initiatives within the Legal and Transformation Teams, as requested
