Who you are
- The successful candidate for this role is a highly motivated self-starter willing to take ownership of various key administrative tasks and has previously worked in a customer experience-focused role
- Education: Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1+ years of administrative experience
- Previous Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) experience is an asset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Technology savvy (Google Sheet, Slack, etc.)
- Previous vehicle licensing experience is strongly preferred
- Previous administrative experience is strongly preferred
What the job involves

- As we scale rapidly, we are looking for an Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining the daily vehicle operations at Clutch
- This role is an integral part of our Field Operations team, as you’ll be completing a large volume of admin tasks before each scheduled delivery
- Ensuring that you deliver an incredible customer experience is a key part of this role
- Reporting to the Project & Operations Supervisor
- Work extensively with Google Sheets to gather and manage data required for daily licensing activities
- Work with the Clutch software database to retrieve data for licensing purposes and maintain accurate digital records to support the completion of licensing procedures
- Collaborating with the Sell-to-Clutch, Dealer/Wholesale, and Field Operations teams to coordinate the timely and accurate completion of licensing
- Manage the paperwork for vehicles from outside the province, ensuring proper registration and compliance
- Investigated inquiries from the sales team and proactively resolved any issues related to licensing to ensure smooth operations
- Address and resolve any complex issues related to vehicle ownership, including edge case scenarios that may arise

Our take
Buying used cars is notoriously something of a minefield - but used car sales platform Clutch is making big strides to sweep away the risk. The marketplace lists certified vehicles for users to shops, and has home delivery, along with a full carfax, insurance, warranty, and optional financing.
The used car sales market has been undergoing something of a digital overhaul in recent years, with a flurry of used car marketplaces cropping up to offer similar services. Canada, however, remains relatively non-competitive compared with the U.S. and Europe. This means Clutch has the luxury of importing a tried-and-tested model into a relatively spacious market.
Clutch will, however, have to face off with close competitor Canada Drives. The two companies enjoy comparable levels of funding and are currently the top competitors in Canada’s used car market. With this market hotting up significantly, Clutch will need to tread carefully to ensure they come out on top.
