You have more than 7 years of experience in investment banking, structured finance, VC space or corporate development

What the job involves

We are looking for an experienced Head of Execution to join our Business Development team in Ride-hailing vertical
You will enable and help grow a portfolio of strategic initiatives across the Rides vertical
Your ability to understand specific market context, maintain a strong network of potential partners and project manage deals throughout their life cycle including implementation would be key attributes for your success in the role
Leading discussion with key stakeholders (such as country and regional management) on developing organic and inorganic business cases across the mobility spectrum
Heading the execution of complex and cross border investment related to our Rides vertical growth
Leading the execution team within the Business development organization and manage the team staffing and prioritization
Engaging and lead strategic discussions with potential partners, co-investors and financial institutions
Executing high impact transactions including partnerships, new ventures and other structured investments that catalyze our strategic roadmap such as: OEM and vehicle financing partnerships, captive structures investments and financing (across EMEA, Asia, Americas), Electrification related investments across markets
Traveling 10-20% of the time depending on the projects in the pipeline

Bolt is another company in the competitive ride-sharing market that's trying to take market share away from Uber in London and Europe more broadly. They operate in 100 cities and have over 25 million customers

Their strategy is to focus on markets where Uber used to have a monopoly and then they come in with a better offering for drivers

Bolt has the ability to grow aggressively for now as they're well financed. They face a similar to challenge to Uber in that no company in this space has established a profitable business model that isn't propped up by investors with deep pockets. Creating a sustainable model that's better for drivers than Uber is the way Bolt can win
