- 3 to 5 years of experience in a growth-oriented, front-facing position in the curriculum space or education in New Jersey, with demonstrated experience with school districts in the state
- Expertise in creating meaningful relationships and generating opportunities with district-level administrators, or equivalent
- A knack for speaking and connecting with teachers. Educator-to-educator communication skills are fundamental for thriving in this role
- A genuine passion for math and education (and for improving traditional methods)
- A hands-on approach to your work, understanding that our mission requires a lot of building from scratch
- An entrepreneurial mindset capable of thinking outside the box and excited about the challenges of an early stage
- An appetite to travel and visit schools and classrooms in your region
What the job involves
- Play a vital role in our growth in the US as a pioneer and bring your passion for education and teaching
- Work in a high-paced environment while making a meaningful impact in classrooms across your region
- Bring our program to school districts, leading meeting generation and procurement
- Develop and execute effective Go-to-Market tactics
- Navigate early-stage market constraints and go the extra mile as part of our supportive, ambitious small team
- Build a strong network of administrators in our target states and divisions across New Jersey
- Generate meaningful interactions with district-level administrators through various channels (cold outreach, conferences, webinars, referrals) and drive discovery meetings
- Manage the sales process from A to Z to master it and lead by example
- Shape the current GTM strategy with relevant tactics in your area
- Conduct product demonstrations (hands-on and math-focused, not product features-oriented)
- Support in the assessment and application of RFPs and state adoptions
- Manage relationships with all stakeholders throughout the sales process, and negotiate and close deals, all the way through to procurement
Our take
Despite its immense importance, the education space has been slow to evolve, with much of teaching still relying on knowledge-first, memory-based curricula. Innovamat sets out to change this, with a maths curriculum focussed on collaboration, discussion, and investigation, delivered through the Innovamat App and its classroom management platform.
Innovamat's resources enable teachers to deliver sequenced sessions, running all the way from infant to secondary - all from one platform. The app provides self-adaptive practice and progress reports, tuned to the pace of each student, and the company also supplies complementary materials for hands-on learning. In addition, it also provides teacher training resources, to ensure all staff are able to deliver the curriculum to their best ability.
With a presence established in Catalonia and Latin America, the company is now looking towards further geographical expansion, particularly in the US and Italy. Innovamat has raised impressive funding that will accelerate research and development, support this new expansion, and allow it to reach even more students atop the 210,000 already learning through its curriculum.
