Financial Analyst, Octane

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data or Business preferred
• 1-2 years corporate finance experience, preferably in investment banking or corporate finance
• Some experience with three-statement modeling and forecasting of long-term financial results strongly preferred
• Strong critical thinking and analytic abilities, with a high attention to detail is required
• Possess advanced knowledge of Excel
• Comfortable working independently, as well as with a team
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to multitask and consistently deliver for multiple different teams

Desirable

• The Financial Analyst will be a vital member of the Finance organization - assisting with the month-end close process, creating department-level variance to budget reporting, and performing ad hoc financial analysis that drives meaningful insights into both current performance and long-term drivers of financial upside
• The Analyst will work closely with the entire FP&A team and other departments
• Assisting with operating model updates and analysis
• Competitor and peer performance benchmarking
• Equity and credit investor financial reporting
• Departmental variance analysis
• Annual budget and rolling forecasting process
• Ad hoc financial analysis
