Who you are
- Significant course and/or project work within the realm of Data, Computer Science, and/or Statistical Analysis
- Ability to write basic SQL, Python, and work within Jupyter Notebooks

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Data Science Intern to join our Data Science team for a 10 week paid internship from June 3rd to August 9th
- You will be managed by an Engineering Director, and partnered with a mentor from your team at Olo, and experience being part of a smart, passionate team dedicated to delivering products using modern tools and technologies
- Weeks 1-8, you will work primarily on your Olo team completing critical project work alongside Olo Engineers and Product Managers. Mondays will be spent working with your fellow interns and Capstone Mentors designing a Capstone Project
- Weeks 9 + 10 are dedicated exclusively to the Capstone
- Work closely with our data science team to set up tests and gather insights
- In addition to day-to-day team-based work, you will participate in a capstone project alongside interns from other functions, including Software Engineering, Product Management and Design
- Iterate on and contribute new ideas to existing data products and reports
- Contribute to team documentation and data dictionaries
- Work alongside Software Engineer, Product, and Design interns on the Summer Capstone Project

The latest addition to its offerings is the commercially available "Borderless" functionality, which has the potential to speed up and streamline payment at venues across Olo's network.
