- Strong organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Proficiency with common documentation tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Confluence, or similar)

What the job involves
- Crusoe.ai looking for an ambitious, recent, or upcoming college graduate to join our Sales Development team as a Sales Development Intern
- This role is designed as a career launchpad, offering a deep dive into the mechanics of high-growth Go-To-Market (GTM) team in the AI Cloud space
- You will work directly with our Sales Leadership and SDR team to learn sales fundamentals, how to leverage a modern sales technology stack, and execute special projects that directly improve our GTM operations
- The Art of Outreach: Learn how to research, identify, and engage high-potential leads within the AI/ML, Robotics, and Scientific Research industries
- Master the Message: Work with Sr SDRs, Account Executive, and Sales Leadership to understand the Crusoe value proposition and how to craft compelling, personalized messaging that resonates with our target market.
- Pipeline Management: Learn the mechanics of the sales funnel—from initial lead identification to qualifying opportunities and booking meetings
- The Modern Stack: Gain hands-on experience and proficiency in a world-class sales stack, including Salesforce, Apollo, Lemlist, Sumble, and Trellus
- AI-Augmented Sales: Learn to leverage the latest AI models (Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT) to optimize your research and outreach workflows, staying at the forefront of "AI for Sales."
- Process Improvement: You will be assigned specific projects aimed at improving team efficiency. This might include optimizing lead identification methods, pipeline reporting and analysis automations, creating agentic sales workflows that reduce operational or administrative workloads for sellers, or performing data hygiene in our CRM
- Sales Play Construction: Conduct deep research into current targeting and messaging performance, form a POV on new outreach opportunities the team could be doing, and put them to the test. You will be a scientist in our outbound lab
- This is a 12-week in-person program based in our San Francisco offices. Applicants must be available to participate in the internship program during one of the designated date ranges:

Our take
Crusoe is tackling one of the biggest challenges facing the digital age: the enormous energy demand of data centres and AI infrastructure. As AI models grow more powerful, they require immense computing power (and therefor electricity) to train and operate. This surge in energy use has put some pressure on power grids, driven up costs, and raised environmental concerns. Crusoe is on a mission to make this process more sustainable by finding smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to power the data centres that drive modern computing.
The company started out by putting wasted energy to work. Originally known as Crusoe Energy, it captured natural gas that would otherwise be burned off ("flared") at remote oil sites and used it to power modular data centres. Today, Crusoe has evolved into a major player in AI infrastructure, designing and operating large-scale data centres near renewable or stranded energy sources. It's now one of a handful of "neocloud" companies (next-generation cloud providers focused on flexible, efficient computing for AI workloads). And its facilities are helping tech giants like OpenAI handle the massive computing requirements of training advanced AI models.
Recently, Crusoe has attracted some huge investor attention, tripling its valuation to over $10B and raising $1.4B in its latest funding round. It's building OpenAI's first major US data centre campus and even experimenting with bold new frontiers. In partnership with Starcloud, Crusoe plans to deploy the world's first space-based cloud computing infrastructure, powered by solar energy and orbiting the Earth by 2027. If successful, this could redefine how and where computing happens, opening up a cleaner, virtually limitless source of energy for AI's next generation.
