Who you are
- Higher university degree (Bachelor's degree minimum)
- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales as a sales executive, sales manager or team leader
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Solid understanding of working and improving processes to maximize the outcome
- Ability to lead through coaching and getting the best performance out of your team
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Team player with ability to work in a distributed and international environment
What the job involves
- Kahoot is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Development - Kahoot at Work to join our team and help expand our presence in the region.
- As the Senior Manager, Business Development - Kahoot at Work you will play a key role in defining and executing our growth strategy, driving revenue, and expanding our market presence within our enterprise segment
- This role is responsible for a team of Sales Executives based in Austin
- The Senior Manager reports to the Senior Sales Director, Americas
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion
- Lead the Business Development team in developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive positioning
- Work closely with the sales teams and customer success teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and maximize revenue from existing customers
- Collaborate with sales and CX teams to develop targeted prospecting campaigns and optimize outreach strategies
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on sales performance, forecasts, and market dynamics
- Implement processes and systems to track and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, setting clear expectations and providing guidance and support to help them succeed
- Providing decisive leadership and guidance to the team, nurturing a culture of excellence, and optimizing revenue-generating opportunities all while adhering to the company values and Sales Mantras
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise customers and prospects
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and customer success to drive customer satisfaction and retention
