Who you are
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs for complex, data-driven applications
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience in designing UX/UI for B2B technological products such as enterprise storage, networking, or cybersecurity solutions
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Familiarity with user testing and analytics tools
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about product design and user experience, considering both short-term needs and long-term vision.Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated ability to lead design initiatives, mentor junior designers, and drive projects from concept to completion
What the job involves
- We are seeking an innovative and visionary Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the creation of intuitive, engaging, and high-usability web interfaces for WEKA’s cutting-edge products and services
- In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams to shape the user experience across our platforms—both on-premises and SaaS—ensuring that our solutions are not only powerful but also remarkably user-friendly
- User-Centered Design: Lead user research initiatives, including conducting interviews and usability testing, to gain deep insights into customer needs and pain points
- Translate these insights into actionable design decisions that elevate the user experience
- Innovative Interface Design: Craft detailed wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that deliver intuitive and engaging experiences across WEKA’s UI platforms
- Brand Integrity and Consistency: Uphold and evolve WEKA’s brand identity by ensuring all design elements are cohesive and align with our brand guidelines, creating a seamless experience across all products
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-centered designs into the product development lifecycle, advocating for the best UX/UI practices
- Advanced Data Visualization: Design sophisticated dashboards and data-intensive interfaces, optimizing complex information for clarity, usability, and aesthetic appeal.Iterative Usability Testing: Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests on product designs. Utilize feedback and insights to iterate and refine designs, ensuring optimal user engagement and satisfaction
