Desirable

• We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team on a 9-months fixed-term contract covering a maternity leave
• Based in London this position offers the chance to collaborate closely with the Head of Finance
• The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, as well as single entities and group consolidated audit
• Oversee areas of financial accounting of control, including financial accounting, treasury, systems, and finance transactions
• Coordinate and manage external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Prepare audit schedules, provide necessary documentation, and address auditor queries
• Coordinate and prepare statutory reporting using US GAAP for subsidiary entities
• Ensuring accurate and current financial ledgers
• Provide the management committee and EXCO with financial reporting vital to the decision-making process
• Support the implementation of new AP software, including new budgeting and forecasting process
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations
• Maintain up to date documentation of business process and accounting policies
• Fulfil additional ad hoc duties are required to meet the needs of the business
