Senior Account Executive, IonQ

• 10 years of experience in sales for PNT/RF products, with experience selling large deals (millions of dollars and up) to leading PNT/RF customers
• Robust network within the sensing industry, holding relationships with senior executives in sensing and technology functions
• Proven track record of successfully driving sales results, with expertise in owning sales processes from end-to-end, especially with cutting-edge technology in nascent markets
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and collaborate effectively cross-functionally, including the ability to synthesize data and opinions into clear and persuasive written, visual, and verbal communication

• We are looking for a Senior Account Executive Specialty Sales, Quantum Sensing to drive the go-to-market engine with the Federal space for the world’s most cutting-edge sensing products based on quantum physics and cryptography
• IonQ’s quantum sensing products represent some of the most mature and game-changing quantum technologies worldwide
• As part of the GTM team within IonQ’s Quantum Sensing sector, your mission will be to accelerate the broad-scale adoption of IonQ’s quantum sensing products across the Federal Space (DoW)
• You will strategize cross-functionally on the ways in which IonQ should embed itself in the broader sensing landscape, applying your experience in the sensing space to impact everything from how we build and market our products to how we define our go-to-market motion
• You will collaborate deeply with IonQ’s product management team focused on quantum sensing to provide customer insights that are prioritized as features for integration into our products
• You will engage with IonQ’s marketing team to sculpt our messaging for quantum sensing and determine the venues and channels through which we promote IonQ
• You will work with IonQ’s team of global account executives to generate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in new and existing accounts
• You will work with IonQ leaders in technical project management, engineering, finance, legal, and customer success to ensure we are defining and delivering upon trailblazing contracts
• The IonQ team values relevant knowledge and experience in classical PNT/RF sales for this role, but a background specific to quantum sensing technology is not required
• Assist in Developing IonQ’s Quantum Sensing Sales Strategy: Design a go-to-market motion for Quantum Sensing that takes into account insights from existing and potential customers and sets IonQ on a path towards broadspread adoption of our technology
• Win Big for IonQ, Driving Company Performance: Work daily with your team of sales professionals to partner with new and existing customers, driving bookings for the company and strong outcomes for users of our products
• Lead growth initiatives in the Federal space by identifying sales opportunities, define contract requirements for customers, and manage end-to-end deal flows, from customer introduction to contract signature and delivery handoff. Provide regular sales updates to monitor progress, and help align the team for success
• Help Tailor Sales Operations for Quantum Sensing: Instrument and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that can help the business understand the performance of our quantum sensing sales efforts. Understand the Market: Immerse yourself in the quantum sensing space, deeply understanding customer needs and motivations, the competitive landscape, and IonQ’s unique advantages in quantum sensing hardware and software, working closely with IonQ’s product management team to inform key product decisions and offerings
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with functions across IonQ to drive coordinated initiatives on behalf of our customers, such as collaborating with customer success and technical program management on contract delivery. Engage with stakeholders across the company to provide an integrated vision for IonQ's quantum sensing offering
• Champion Quantum Sensing Products: Represent IonQ’s quantum security product on the front lines of conferences and events in coordination with IonQ’s Marketing and Communications teams
