Corporate Counsel, Pave

• J.D. and member of the California bar or able to register as an in-house counsel in California
• 4-6 years of law firm and/or in-house practice in a transactional role, with a preference for experience in-house negotiating complex commercial agreements at a B2B SaaS company
• Feel comfortable making fast, smart legal judgments to help our business continue to scale
• A self-starter that is organized, dependable and responsive

• As Pave continues to grow, we’re looking to build out our commercial legal function in particular. However, as a small but mighty team (you’ll be the second lawyer!), you’ll be a valued asset in projects impacting teams throughout Pave. This role reports to the Head of Legal
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Pave’s products, processes and people
• Collaborate with our Sales, Customer Success and Partnership teams across all stages of our go-to-market motion
• Dive into privacy, regulatory and operational challenges for a fast-growing startup
• Act as a utility player, working across a variety of projects and teams, and handle special projects as requested
