Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree (Minimum) A strong academic record, with strong writing credentials, is a plus
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS growth or performance marketing (We are flexible on years of experience for exceptional candidates)
- Track record of managing for results: You have owned a marketing budget or a revenue number and delivered against it. You can point to specific programmes that produced measurable pipeline
- Data-driven and experimental: You design experiments, instrument them properly, and use the data to decide what to kill, keep, or scale. You measure success by pipeline contribution and CAC payback, not by traffic or impressions
- Demonstrated AI fluency: You can describe in detail how you have built AI into your day-to-day workflow, not just “I use ChatGPT.” You combine LLMs with automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n) and your CRM to compound your output
- Editor first: On content, we are looking for an editor more than a writer. You can take an AI-assisted draft from good to original and polished, with a sophisticated sustainability or finance buyer in mind. You know when AI output is generic, and you fix it
- Tech stack agnostic: Experience with HubSpot and Clay is a plus, but more important is that you learn and evaluate new GTM tools quickly and have a clear point of view on what makes a marketing stack efficient
- Agency management: You have briefed agencies, set performance targets, held them to those targets, and made the call to change course when needed
- Collaborative by nature: You build pipeline alongside the sales team. You actively seek their input, share what is working, and treat marketing and sales as one go-to-market motion
- Autonomy and clear communication: You frame problems, propose a path, and write the one-pager that lets us make a decision in five minutes. You do not wait to be managed
- Genuine curiosity about ESG and sustainability: You do not need to be an expert in CSRD or SFDR on day one, but you should be the kind of person who chooses to read about them on day three
What the job involves
- Build the inbound growth engine for KEY ESG
- Positioning and messaging: Sharpen how KEY ESG shows up for each audience (sustainability teams, CFOs, and the wider organisation) and translate that into web, content, sales enablement, and campaigns
- SEO, GEO, and Google Ads: Own organic and paid search end-to-end. Edit and ship the content programme that fuels SEO, optimise for AI-driven search (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the rest of the GEO stack), and run Google Ads as a performance channel that earns its budget
- Demand generation: Plan and execute campaigns across paid social, ABM, partnerships, and webinars. Tie every spend back to pipeline
- Partner closely with sales: Build pipeline with our sales team, not for them. Sit in on pitches and discovery calls, feed what is converting back into the top of the funnel, and treat marketing and sales as one motion
- Manage agencies for performance: Brief, manage, and hold agencies accountable for results across paid, SEO, and creative. Make the call to switch or bring work in-house when the numbers say so
- Own the marketing budget: Allocate spend across channels, defend the budget to leadership, and make sure every pound is delivering measurable pipeline
- Experiment across channels: Test hypotheses across SEO, GEO, paid, content, and outbound. Instrument experiments properly, kill what is not working, and double down on what is
- Build an efficient marketing function: Configure HubSpot workflows, attribution, and reporting. Choose a tech stack that compounds the team’s output. Document playbooks and automate the repetitive
