Who you are

Possess or pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a similar technical degree
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, C++, or C#
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: recommendation systems, information retrieval, text/image/video understanding, or GenAI/foundation models
Strong background in advanced techniques such as LLMs, multimodal learning, and other state-of-the-art machine learning methods
Experience building and working on end-to-end ML pipelines, including data processing, modeling, and production deployment
Published and presented peer-reviewed articles in top-tier venues, such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, ICCV, KDD, WWW and RecSys

What the job involves

Develop cutting-edge machine learning models for recommendation systems, search systems, image/video understanding, and text understanding
Apply advanced techniques in LLMs and multimodal learning to improve content and user understanding
Create end-to-end solutions to enhance search and discovery across key surfaces like the homepage, search, and experience details page
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and extensibility of our machine learning systems
