Lead Software Engineer, Seqera Labs

• The ideal candidate is passionate about addressing a wide range of technical challenges: not just frontend or backend, but also complex problems involving infrastructure, distributed programming, containerization, cloud architectures, and integrations
• With a strong foundational knowledge in software engineering, you have experience in both front-end and back-end development, and are able to ramp up quickly on new frameworks and technologies
• You have experience in writing optimized, well-tested, and secure code in both front-end and back-end settings. This includes proficiency in implementing efficient algorithms, using best practices in coding standards, and adhering to security measures to protect data integrity and prevent vulnerabilities
• Have proven experience designing, modeling, and operating database systems. You are able to guide data modeling decisions, schema evolution, and performance trade-offs as the product scales
• Have proven experience in API Design and Best Practices: you should handle requests from a set of different clients and products from the Seqera Ecosystem and from our Enterprise use cases
• Have worked on cloud architectures and cloud application deployments: you should have worked with at least one of the major cloud providers and have built distributed architecture on top of its service offering
• You are familiar with container technologies and orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes and/or Docker Compose
