Who you are
- 1–3 years of experience in project management, operations, support or product-adjacent role in a software / SaaS environment
- Strong analytical mindset; very comfortable with numbers, Google Sheets/Excel and basic metrics
- Basic understanding of database structures and relational data models; ability to write simple SQL queries for analysis and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with tools such as MySQL, DataGrip or similar database clients is a plus
- Clear, structured communicator and strong organizer; able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and follow up rigorously
- Confident in presenting and training internal teams on new flows and features
- Fluent English and at least one of: Spanish or Polish (Italian or Brazilian Portuguese are a strong plus)
- Understands internet and ecommerce basics: online flows, checkouts, subscriptions, refunds, etc
- Basic understanding of financial concepts: card payments, accounts, transfers, settlements
- Experience in a customer-facing or operations team (support, sales, customer success) is a strong advantage
- Any exposure to fintech or payments is a plus, but not required
- Team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude, curiosity about product work and willingness to learn fast
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Associate Product Manager to join our team and help Product Manager for Payments in day-to-day delivery and coordination
- As a key member for the team, you will be responsible for taking ownership of small projects (bugs, support flows, experiments) and drive them to completion
- You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, Finance and external payment partners
- Maintain clear documentation for new features, support flows and processes, and use data (Sheets/Excel) to track performance, spot issues and propose improvements
- Investigate and help resolve product bugs related to payments, including basic debugging (reproduction steps, data validation) and coordination with Engineering
- Design, test and “productionize” new customer support flows for payments, then hand them over to support teams
- Perform light software testing of new features and flows (functional checks, sanity tests, regression checks)
- Assist in organizing and coordinating product experiments, promotions and rollouts (set-up, tracking, follow-up)
- Prepare simple reports, dashboards and summaries for the Product Manager and stakeholders
- Communicate with payment processors and other external partners mainly on operational issues, incidents and resolutions
- Contribute to refining the broader Payments business line by providing operational insights and data-driven feedback: customer journeys, checkout flows, billing and collections

Healthcare platform Docplanner has become a major player in the European healthtech market in the decade since it was founded. The company offers a suite of administrative tools for over 22M patients and around 2M doctors worldwide, including workflow digitisation and appointment booking services. The company currently operate in 13 countries, hit Unicorn status in 2021, and has been riding a recent wave of digital transformation and workforce overburdening in the healthcare sector which has spurred on demand for precisely the kind of services they provide. So it’s safe to say business is going well.
What is most compelling about Docplanner’s business journey has been its long-brewing competition with their direct competitor, the fellow Unicorn and better-funded Doctolib. The tête-à-tête with this French/German rival has seen both parties making aggressive European expansion with national acquisitions - Doctolib in Italy, France, and Germany; Docplanner in Turkey, Poland, Spain, and Latin America. With Docplanner’s 2021 acquisition of German parallel platform Jameda, however, they are making moves on Doctolib’s home turf. The company has also acquired MyDr, a leading Polish tech solutions provider.
These broad consolidation moves represent a maturation of the healthtech market which will serve both competitors well. Docplanner is certainly a key and aggressive contender in this race - and this company isn't going anywhere any time soon.
