Who you are
- 5+ years in a client-facing SaaS role (Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Product Specialist, or similar)
- 2+ years leading high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of financial services workflows; expertise in investment banking, private equity, and hedge funds is a plus
- Exceptional communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to tailor narratives to senior stakeholders
- Data-driven decision-maker who uses metrics and insights to prioritize and measure success
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoy building for scale
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Manager of Customer Success to lead, develop, and inspire a team of approximately 10 client-facing product experts who help our customers get maximum value from AlphaSense
- As a leader in our Customer Success organization, you’ll partner closely with Account Executives (pre-sales) and Account Managers (post-sales) to ensure our Customer Success Managers are delivering exceptional engagements — from high-impact demos that win new business to adoption campaigns that drive long-term success
- You’ll set strategy, coach for performance, and ensure we have the right coverage and resources in place to support our most important accounts across the financial services markets
- Lead & Develop a High-Impact Team: Manage a group of approximately 10 Product Specialists, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and confidence to excel in both pre- and post-sales engagements
- Drive Client Value: Ensure PS-led engagements — from product demos to adoption campaigns — are persona-specific, data-driven, and tied to measurable outcomes
- Strategic Account Coverage: Partner with sales leadership to prioritize accounts, align team resources, and ensure we’re driving impact where it matters most
- Operational Excellence: Build scalable playbooks, demo flows, and talk tracks for key personas, leveraging product usage data and GenAI adoption insights
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Enablement, Marketing, and Product teams to align messaging, share customer feedback, and roll out new initiatives

Manual research can be a serious pain: financial analysts spend hours every week searching through PDFs one keyword at a time, just to find a single usable insight. To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.
As a disruptor and market leader in this field, AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.
Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it has now set its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
